The snorkeling and diving are fabulous as the waters are crystal clear. The people are very welcoming. It has a population of about half a million and over 100,000 live in the capital, Male. The resorts are the most fabulous I have ever been and the price ranges from $100 - 4,000 per day. It is worth it.
